I cou...</title><content type='html'>I can see this isn&amp;#39;t an easy issue for you.  I couldn&amp;#39;t quite work out whether you were in favour of political engagement.  I&amp;#39;m a Mennonite and a Green Party member here in the UK.  Without denying that there are real issues with doing politics I&amp;#39;ve always felt I should be involved. I do keep an eye on &amp;#39;political space&amp;#39; though.  It expands and contracts all the time.  It&amp;#39;s always that pre-war period that worries me.  Maybe I could have been a politican in the Germany of 1931 but by 1939 - surely not.  Somewhere between one and the other the alarm bells should have been ringing.
